Your first few minutes

  1. Start without an email address. Choose the device-only option on the welcome screen, labeled “Continue on this device” in version 1.1.12. You do not need to create an account. An email-verified account is also local to your device, not a cloud health account.
  2. Choose which Apple Health data to share. Allow only the categories you want PulseFit to read, or leave access off for now. Health metrics and a recovery score may be unavailable without readable data.
  3. Check in with how you feel. Add your mood, stress, fatigue, or a note. Saving a check-in does not add measured sleep or heart-rate data, and a check-in alone does not provide a health-data-based recovery score.
  4. Decide whether to use AI. On-device features work without cloud AI. Read the separate “AI data consent” screen before choosing to enable it.

Missing data or previously declined access?

  1. Open Apple Health and check whether the relevant category has recent data. PulseFit does not measure your heart rate or sleep itself.
  2. In Apple Health, open your profile, find “Apps” under Privacy, select PulseFit, and review the categories you want to allow. Menu names can vary by iOS version. Apple’s Health app guide explains how to manage app access.
  3. Return to Today in PulseFit and tap “Connect Apple Health” or “Sync Apple Health.” You can also sync under You → Health, Devices & Reminders.

Missing data is not a measured zero and does not necessarily mean something is broken. You can still record how you feel. Health metrics and recovery scores need supporting data.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

You can start on iPhone and save check-ins without an Apple Watch. Available health metrics depend on the data in Apple Health and the access you allow. If you use an Apple Watch, first check that its data appears in Apple Health on your iPhone, then sync PulseFit.

Why do I still see kg, km, or °C?

The current version uses metric units in some weight, distance, and temperature views. Switching to English does not automatically change those units. Check the unit shown next to a field before entering a value.

Cloud AI is optional

PulseFit provides the AI service in current releases. You do not need an API key or model setup. Only after your separate consent, prepared health summaries, recent trends, user notes, and recent conversations are sent through PulseFit’s server to an external AI provider to generate suggestions. Raw HealthKit samples are not sent. Cloud AI is not fully offline processing.

To stop future sending, open You → AI Coach and turn off “Enable AI Analysis & Chat.” You can keep using on-device features. If AI reports a connection problem, timeout, or temporary outage, check your internet connection and try again later; no key is needed. See the Privacy Policy in English for details about data processing.

PulseFit offers general wellness and lifestyle information. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or emergency services.

Local accounts and data controls

The current version does not offer cloud health-data sync. Neither an email-verified local account nor device-only mode is a cloud backup of your health records. Sending snapshots between your own iPhone and Apple Watch is not cloud account sync.

To delete PulseFit’s local account and app data, open You → Manage Account → “Delete local account and data.” Review the confirmation before continuing. This removes local account credentials, chats, trend history, reminders, AI settings, weather cache, widget data, Watch snapshots, and other app-managed local data.

This does not delete original records in Apple Health; manage those separately in Apple Health. “Clear local history” only clears PulseFit’s trend history, not all local app data.

PulseFit does not sell personal or health data, use health data for targeted advertising, or track you across apps or websites. Read the Privacy Policy in English for the full details.
