Meeting Assistant Privacy Policy

Meeting Assistant is designed to help users record, import, transcribe, organize, and export meeting-related audio and text. We respect user privacy and keep transcription processing on device whenever the current app configuration is used.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide account access and app functionality.

Email address: Used for account registration, login, and email verification.
Authentication information: Used to maintain your signed-in session.
Server request data: Our authentication server may receive standard request data such as IP address, timestamps, and basic security logs for fraud prevention, security, and service reliability.

Audio and Transcript Data

Meeting Assistant processes transcription on device. Imported audio files, recordings, transcripts, generated documents, and export files are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them through iOS system features.

We do not upload audio files or transcript content to our server for transcription.

Photos and Profile Data

If you choose a profile photo or edit your profile inside the app, that information is stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly offers cloud profile sync.

Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Subscription status is checked through Apple StoreKit.

Tracking and Advertising

Meeting Assistant does not track users across apps or websites. We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

Data Retention

Account-related data is retained as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Locally stored recordings, transcripts, exports, history, and profile data remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of account-related data by contacting support. Local data stored on your device can be deleted inside the app where available or by deleting the app.

Children

Meeting Assistant is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for professional productivity use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and publish the revised policy.
